Hello! It's nice to meet you!
I live in New England with my husband and daughter. I have been photographing weddings for the past ten years.
I love old friends, new adventures, the changing seasons and discovering the unexpected joy of life’s in-between moments.
When I developed my first photograph in the darkroom it took my breath away. Even today in the era of digital photography I’m drawn to the unexpected. I begin each wedding shoot with an open heart and in addition to capturing the iconic events of the wedding day I aspire to capture more nuanced moments that may otherwise go unnoticed.
It is both my mission and my passion to capture those subtle moments for you, to transform the ephemeral feelings and stolen glances into enduring memories.
Making wedding photographs is a collaboration – between two people in love, between the couple and their families, and between my clients and myself. It’s important to me to develop a personal connection with my couples, cultivating a space where they are comfortable to be themselves and to take fun!
I understand that each wedding is a singular moment and a landmark in a couple’s relationship. Reassuring and calming, I encourage my couples to be truly present. I accept a limited number of wedding bookings each year so that I can get to know my couples and deliver the best client experience and photographs possible.
Christina lives in New England with her husband and daughter. She works as a local in her home away from home(s) San Francisco and New York City. Her career as a wedding photographer was born out of a deep love of people and connection. An introvert who loves to listen to people’s stories Christina is humbled in the way she is allowed access to document the milestones of so many couples over the past 13 years. Christina lovingly supports the LGBTQIA+ community and is committed to anti-racist work locally and nationally. Please contact Christina with any questions.
Do you shoot film or digital?
All of the above! Most of my photos are digital, but I also shoot on vintage medium format film cameras. The amount of film I shoot per wedding varies on the wedding and my client’s interest.
Do we have rights to the files?
Yes. All of my collections include the rights to print and share your high res files as you wish.
How long does it take for us to receive our wedding gallery?
Turnaround time is 4-8 weeks. Your wedding photographs are delivered online via an email link. I provide all photos in color and black and white with few exceptions (photographs shot on black and white film and lightning situations that strongly favor a particular toning).
How many edited photos will I receive?
This depends on your wedding, but a reasonable estimate is 50-100 high-res jpeg images per hour of coverage.
What is your travel policy?
I work as a local in New England (my current home) San Francisco, and NYC. I am willing and eager to travel to photograph your wedding anywhere in the world, and I keep my travel fees attainable.
What are your rates?
It varies depending on your event. Drop me a line, and I will send you a few options based on what you're looking for.
We would love to book you; how does that work?
The booking process is all online and requires a 35% retainer and a signed contract. The balance is due two weeks before the wedding date.
Do you offer prints and albums?
Coming from a fine art background, I absolutely love seeing photographs printed. I offer a variety of fine art albums and books designed by me and handcrafted by skilled artisans. A printed photograph endures while technologies and trends evolve and disappear.
